Collection: Thistledown Linoprints

My name is Sarah Pawson and I live in a village called Gargrave near the Yorkshire Dales.
I’m a mum of two and also work as a teaching assistant.
Lino printing is something I have self taught myself to do and it has become quite a therapy in what can be a very busy home life.
Each piece of work is hand drawn then crafted out with pfeil tools into Lino. I use Caligo inks and either a glass baron or spoon to hand burnish each print.
Topics of interest is nature, taken from the local area, and old illustrations from books I read when I was a child....adding in detail to give a feel of uniqueness. Each print is an original and colours can be mixed on request.
